Neuromatch Academy 2021


Two courses were offered in the summer of 2021:


NMA-CN:  

Computational Neuroscience, which is an updated version of the course we ran in 2020.  The course ran from July 5-23.

NMA-DL:  

Deep Learning, which is a course on the theory and techniques of deep learning with an emphasis on neuroscience.  The course ran from August 2-20.

There are three different positions in each of these two courses:

Interactive Students, who will work closely in small pods to learn materials from the tutorials and may also develop research projects with their peers in conjunction with TAs and mentors.

Teaching Assistants (TAs), who will help to run the course by guiding students through the tutorials and helping them to develop projects.  All TAs will receive a USD 1500 payment for their help, regardless of what country they work or reside in.

Mentors, who will typically be faculty members or established industry professionals.  Mentors will work with students and TAs to guide the development of research projects and to provide career advice and other forms of support.
